Prenatal Care: Don't Take Any Supplement Without Asking Your Doctor

When I became pregnant with my first child, I was so excited! I also had a lot to learn. I was having a lot of back pain during pregnancy, so I was eager to find a natural supplement that could help it. I found one at the local health food store that looked like it might work, so I bought it. I then went home and was just about to try a dose when I found a warning on the bottle that said it should not be taken during pregnancy! I almost took it before I noticed that warning, and I felt relieved I caught it before I put my baby in danger. I created this blog to remind all pregnant mothers that even natural supplements should be cleared by your doctor before you take them.
